"Hard-hitting punk rock served up New Jersey style: fast, powerful and strictly no compromise! All the best characteristics of punk, Oi! and street rock n roll rolled into one chaotic weapon. New Jersey certainly boasts the toughest in punk rock and the best thing is that it‚s a really exclusive sound. A lot of US bands who play Oi! soaked punk really feed off the whole English thing, the COCKSPARRER sound, but not the NJ bands, that's so great- the state has created it's own breed. I'm a total sucker for this stuff so I'm bound to say it rules but it really does- I can be pretty specific about what grabs me and I have a real problem if a band sounds put-on. So when it done as well and sincerely as HEADWOUND hell I got no choice!"
